SingSing

SingSing is a registered Sweet Adelines quartet whose members got together to enter a City Voices Chorus “crazy quartet” competition. A few rehearsals later – after winning a crazy crown apiece – a new quartet was born.

Singers include physician Sue Singer on bass, school librarian Janice Malony on tenor, domestic goddess and care-providing grandmother Chris Roth on baritone and newspaper managing editor Peggy Bess on lead.

SingSing delivered singing valentines on Feb. 14, 2008, sang at a send-off party for a teenage Jeopardy competitor, and is available to sing for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, club meetings, etc. Contact Peggy Bess at 314-412-0189 or psue55@aol.com.

Station KBJJ

Station KBJJ is just what this quartet has to offer: tunes which are a mixture of old and new songs, and a velvety sound that is always easy to listen to.

The quartet is 100% City Voices Chorus. The bass, Joan Hedgcock, has been in too many quartets to mention. Barb Anderson sings the lead, though sometimes is forced to sing baritone when the baritone wants to sing lead! Jerilee Inghram is the baritone but because she directs City Voices, she gets a bit bossy. The other three also accuse her of talking too much when she emcees. Karen Clymer is the tenor and can be quite funny in their comedy numbers.

If you want a variety of great songs with a little humor thrown in, call or write to ask them to sing for you. Contact Jerilee Inghram at jering@charter.net or call her at 636-561-7731.

UNIQUE

Hellooooooooo...we're unique. UNIQUE Quartet that is! We love a cappella singing, in the barbershop style, and are ready to share with the world.

Ann Kehler sings lead (a convert from tenor) and has many years of quartet singing experience. Bev Boyer sings baritone and has won a quartet contest in Harmony, Inc. Marcia Dickerson, singing bass, has placed in the Top 10, Region #5 Quartet Contest of Sweet Adelines. Peggy Leon, an Assistant Director for CV, sings tenor (she's a convert from lead). She's relatively new to Sweet Adelines but has many years of musical experience as a music teacher.

So, you see, we are UNIQUE (yes, the pun is intended). For booking information contact Peggy Leon at LeonLeon@charter.net or 314-605-6039.
