Become a Member

We Need Singers! – We are on a continuous search for new members who sing well! We provide extensive training in music, vocal production, choral singing, performing and the barbershop style. To be a Sweet Adeline does not require a musical background; you can learn by participating, and from tapes. We have excellent coaches and section leaders in City Voices who will assist you.

Audition Process

On the first visit your voice range will be tested by the director or one of the music team to determine your voice part. For the next 5 visits you will work with an audition team to prepare you for your vocal audition. On your sixth visit you will audition for the director and the musical team to determine if you can sing your part. You may audition more than once, if necessary.
